To be fair to them Scousers, Liverpool generally looked better than Milan today, Seedorf and Kaka had a poor game, but then again lighting doesnt strike the same place twice

Tell the truth u was s**ing your pants after we scored
Hmm...not really
Not that it bothered me who would win at the end, but I felt that maybe Liverpool will try a bit more harder and then a few stray passes here and there I went "meh, its not gonna happen this time"
good job boys. played really good but luck wasnt with us.
I will say bad luck to Liverpool, they did threaten Milan more than the other way around, but it was the final ball in the box that just didnt come at the right time.
Inzaghi's off-the-chest-i'm-still-lucky goal made it a bit harder for Liverpool and they had to attack, which they did, but Milan's defending was adequate enough to stave off that threat as Liverpool had only one man up front. Then Milan scored again, and Liverpool tried harder and scored, but sadly for you lads it didnt happen this time.
This game epitomised Liverpool's season. Enjoy loads of possesion, create chances and look dangerous, but still somehow throw it all away. Better luck next time...
Liverpool stars Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher have both signed new contracts at the club.
Skipper and vice-captain have pledged their futures to their home-town club until 2011.
The England duo were understandably ecstatic to have put pen-to-paper.
"I am very pleased. Obviously we are both local lads and I've always said I wanted to stay here for the rest of my career," said Carragher.
"Hopefully I've got one more (contract) left in me that will take me until the end of my career.
"I have signed for four years and hopefully I can still be a regular in the team. That's the aim anyway."
Gerrard added: "I'm really pleased too.
"The negotiations have gone really smoothly.
"Although they have been spoken about for a couple of weeks, I think it's happened pretty quickly.
"I'm just pleased to get it out of the way and we look forward to next season now. Hopefully over the next four years we can deliver a lot more trophies."
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard today accepted undisclosed libel damages over a claim he had been in secret talks over a possible move to Real Madrid.
The England star, who is in Estonia for tonight's crucial international, brought proceedings in London's High Court over a 'world exclusive' in Sport Magazine in February.
His solicitor, Gerard Tyrrell, told Mr Justice Eady that the article was accompanied by a fax from the Park Lane Marriott Hotel which it claimed was 'confirmation of a hotel reservation in London for the Liverpool captain'.
The story stated that 'Sport Magazine might not be the sharpest tool in the box, but even we can join the dots on this one'.
It went on to say that 'when we called the Park Lane, they confirmed that a Mr Steven Gerrard was indeed booked in for an overnight stay. Remember where you read it first and watch this space'.
Reference to the article was also made in the editor's letter which stated that the fax 'purports to come from the Marriott Hotel, and confirms bookings on Monday February 5 for Liverpool and England star Steven Gerrard and one Ramon Calderon, who just happens to be president of Real Madrid'.
Mr Tyrrell said the allegations were completely untrue and without any foundation whatsoever.
The magazine had not contacted Gerrard or his agents before publication of the story, which had caused the player and his family considerable embarrassment and distress.
'The true position is that Steven Gerrard has not been involved in breach of FA rules in secret talks with Real Madrid or indeed any other football club relating to a possible move. He is more than happy at Liverpool to whom he is contracted.'
Publisher Sport Media & Strategy Ltd accepted that the allegations were false and apologised to Gerrard.
France winger Florent Malouda has described Liverpool as a 'great club', increasing speculation the Lyon player could make the switch to Anfield.
The 27-year-old is one of a number of reported targets for Reds boss Rafael Benitez in a summer overhaul, although he has also been linked with Chelsea, Juventus and AC Milan.
'There has been contact with Liverpool, although I don't know as yet if they have shown their interest directly to Lyon,' reports The Sun.
'People make their decisions based on the different leagues in different countries but I would rather decide based on the club. And Liverpool, why not? It is a great club.'

Good to hear from you Cyrus jan. I've been voluntarily banned, because I had exams and wanted to concentrate on them.... Here's another quote, in return: 'If you're not sure what to do with the ball, just pop it in the net and we'll discuss your options afterwards.' Bill Shankly, LEGEND
