You'll never walk alone, bc you gave us the game called "football" otherwise the world would have been watching freacking rugby or freaking cricket or something.

and this work of confidence boosting scouse literature:
What a nightmare for the Liverpool support.
Even if their team prevails in west London tonight the next three weeks will be an exhaustive, gut-wrenching, sleep-deprived case study in fear and horror. The Ghosts Of The Dreaded Future Which Could Soon Be Reality will haunt their every waking hour. There will be hope, but only a glimmer, and any optimism will be vastly outweighed by the spectre of a looming doom that can barely be contemplated without the need for sharp knives. Because there is nothing, absolutely nothing, that a Liverpool supporter dreads as much as a defeat to Manchester United.
And that's just any old defeat. Defeat in a Champions League final is off the scale. They'll be throwing themselves into the Mersey just to avoid the misery - and that's only the build-up.
Whatever the euphoria at Old Trafford last night as the league leaders held firm against a Barcelona side that appeared to have a phobia of shooting, it would have been matched by the anguish of Liverpool supporters waking up to the realisation of their worst nightmare. Of course they still dream of another Champions League success, but, with the club hardly in need of another a European triumph, they will be more vexed by the prospect of their great - and for 'great' read 'loathed' - rivals conquering the continent for a third time. That it could be Liverpool themselves who are defeated in the final battle is a scenario that belies adequate description. Suffice to say, it must be avoided at all costs.
Just imagine the gloating, just imagine how tarnished their record in European would feel. Even if Liverpool were to win, United will probably have the consolation of another Premier League title - something that, as they are fond of reminding their neighbours, Liverpool are yet to boast of once on their CV.
For sure, losing to Chelsea tonight wouldn't be a joyous occasion but it would be the equivalent of stubbing a toe rather than suffering an amputation. Lose in Moscow and the Liverpool support might prefer to take residence in a Siberian gulag rather than return to England's claustrophobic north-west.
If the first fear of Liverpool supporters is the dread of losing to United in a Champions League final, the second is the horror of realising that the odds on United lifting the trophy on May 21 would only fall if Rafa Benitez somehow orchestrated Chelsea's elimination. Sir Alex Ferguson might have claimed in the aftermath of Barcelona's removal that "I don't mind who we play" but, make no mistake, he would be better minded to face Liverpool - who have only beaten United once under Benitez's management - than Chelsea - who United have only beaten once in the past three years and were second best to this weekend.
For once, the Liverpool team may be walking alone when it marches out to face Chelsea tonight.
