we have a total of 8 european cups, compared to chelseas 2, man u's 3, and arsenal's 1, which means we have won more of Europe than the other three put togehter
This is why he is so great and loved by the fans.Just sounds like poetry.
Attending the Hillsborough Memorial Service at Anfield last week, Gerrard sat next to Robbie Fowler listening in hushed reverence.
And it was then, at that poignant moment, that a memory sparked for the Huyton-born midfielder that he will hold with him when he's battling it out with Lampard and co this evening.
"I whispered to Robbie that I could picture perfectly the days I stood on the Kop, and literally got carried 20 or 30 yards as the crowd surged forward when he scored a goal," said the Reds captain.
"God it was incredible. I would watch the likes of Ian Rush and Aldo, then as I got older John Barnes, Jamie Redknapp and Robbie, and hope and pray and dream like mad that it would be me one day.
"I never even bothered dreaming that I would ever be captain - that would be too mad - just that I would set foot out on that pitch, just the once.
"And d'ya know what, even now, I can't put into words what it feels like to be living that dream."
You know...looking at the old school Kop videos it really looked spectacular seeing the crowd sway and surge in the stands.
Those days it must have been a great occasion to be a part of the Kop, moving about as one group and more songs to sing than YNWA. Nowadays, with all due respect to Liverpool fans, its just YNWA and nothing else

No need
Just wanted to confirm that's all
p.s. I suggest naming the new Liverpool Ground to Spion Kop Stadium...or simply The Kop for the sake of the old school feel of it
Liverpool fans, it will require something special if you want your team to reach the final knowing what Chelsea is capable of. Maybe a performance that matches the 2005 final or even better than will be needed (plus a 2 goal margin win) to beat Chelsea at Anfield.
