pirlo at barca would be excellent but if i'm not mistaken he's a defensive midfielder who usually plays in front of the defenders and wouldn't be a good swap for ronnie who is attacking and often likes to support the strikers.

anyways, i don't buy it yet. goal is not a credible source.

Pirlo has Milan and Italy running in his veins, it wouldn't make sense for him to join a Spanish side who relies on Ronaldinho to score.

thats what we thought with cannavaro and zambrotta too. i'm sure it will be no problem for pirlo to move to barca, someone who moved from inter milan to ac milan. so he's not that proud or loyal.

anyways, my point is pirlo moved to ac milan from inter so i'm sure moving to barca is no big deal for him. mind you it seems milan and inter do several player swaps and transfers, something which is extremely rare between rival clubs. in barca's history there has only been (direct transfers, not via other clubs) luis enrique, figo and there is one more from about 50 years ago but his name escapes me. also i think there's been a few between barca and espanyol.
