    Cisse Fans Good News

France international Djibril Cisse scored a hat-trick to save Marseille from an embarrassing Coupe de France defeat at Cambrai.

When Julien Bailleul equalised Cisse's opener to take the game into extra-time, it looked as though the town more famous for its First World War battlefields than its football was scenting a famous victory against the Mediterranean giants.
However, on-loan Liverpool striker Cisse added two more goals and then Toifilou Maoulida added another as Marseille ran out 4-1 winners.
Marseille included France World Cup star Franck Ribery in their line-up and his brother Francois featured in one of the shocks of the night.
Francois came on as a late substitute for Calais who beat Ligue 1 Lorient to claim a 2-0 win with both goals scored by Djezon Boutoille.
Rennes lost 3-1 at home to Romorantin who led through Gilles Fabien before John Utaka looked to have saved Rennes by taking the game to extra-time.
A penalty from Xavier Dudoit and a goal from Ali Hadjeres sealed the win for the minnows.
Troyes were another Ligue 1 side to be eliminated, losing 4-2 at Libourne St-Seurin, while Auxerre were also top-flight casualties, losing 5-4 on penalties after drawing 2-2 with Niort.
Fabien Barthez played for Nantes whom he joined after a shortlived retirement before Christmas and it was a winning night for the veteran of the 1998 World Cup winning side who kept a clean sheet with Nicolas Savinaud earning Les Canaris a 1-0 win over Ligue 2 club Guingamp.
There were two all Ligue 1 clashes, with Sochaux winning 3-1 at St Etienne and Lens winning 9-8 on penalties after a 3-3 draw with Nancy.
Toulouse squeezed through against Chatellerault with a 4-3 penalty shootout win after a 1-1 draw, while Monaco won 2-0 at Quevilly.
Valenciennes beat Caen 2-1 and Bordeaux.

        LOL wow.

The reason I'm laughing is because my Afghani friend's bigger bro was just picked up from a club in France that plays in the 5th division.
