Roma captain Francesco Totti has admitted he may not play for Italy again.
The 30-year-old played his last game for the Azzurri in the World Cup final in July, in which they beat France on penalties, and was left out of the squad that drew with Turkey in November amid rumours of personal problems with manager Roberto Donadoni.
"I still don't know whether I will return to the national team," Totti explained.
"Between Donadoni and me there's no particular problem, but the final in Berlin could have been my last game with Italy."
Totti made his international debut in 1998, and has since made 59 appearances, scoring nine goals.
