hey roy, just wondering if bassong is any good? ive heard different things from different people. Some say his overrated. Some say he was one of your few bright spots last year. Which is it?

Bassongs already left and joined tottenham by the way.
But yeh was an okay player, never top4 quality but still okay. His stats are:
He made 30 appearances for newcastle last season, scored no goals and no assists but defensively he was a strong guy but he performed 23 fouls and got 5 yellow cards and 2 red. Throughout the whole season he only had 5 shots and only 1 was on target...

Oh and Habib beys already joined aston villa.

He was by far our best player last season, but we were shite (to be honest) so i dont know how he'll look in a proper team.

The only worry for me is players like him (for me) all they want is money and fame, not the club, thats why he was the fst player to say he wants out even if we made him what he is & no one heard of him before he joined us.

Newcastle United have completed the signing of defender Danny Simpson on loan from Manchester United.
The 22-year-old defender has agreed a deal with the Championship club that will keep him at St James' Park until January.
Simpson has already enjoyed loan spells at Royal Antwerp, Sunderland, Ipswich and Blackburn since emerging through the youth ranks at Old Trafford in 2006.
The Magpies are bidding to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking having suffered relegation to England's second tier last season.
Simpson is expected to go straight into Chris Hughton's squad for Saturday's home clash with Reading.
