Johnson is ok, the other 3 are shite, you know it. SG has been playing for england for 10 years & done nothibg, khar-ger is the same. As for Joe cole he can't even get a game now. All hasbeens just like your team..

Cheers mate, you beat me to it. He's on loan with option of a permanent signing if he plays over 25 games.
The other signing was Sheikh Tiote from FC Twente. He's a holding midfielder & was one of their best players last season, you might remember him braking Elano's leg in the world cup.

I think Ashley is starting to fix things slowly & sticking to his U25 plan, all young, pace & power. We'll be ok.

As for today, we came back with a point from Wolves after going down to their only shot on target today! They hit the target 100 times (wasn't the goal) it was Barton, he was chopped over n over but luckily he kept his temper. I'm sure there was orders from above to do that. No problem, a point away is ok with me.

Another 3 points today & 7 in total takes us to 5th place. With city playing wigan tomorrow thy look like they'll jump above us. I can't see Blackpool leaving stanford bridge with anything or Liverpool beating Man U.

Back to today, Ben Arfa, he was amazing & will play a big part this season.

Next is Chelsea in the Carling cup. If they rest their top players we might have a chance, if they field the full team then we are out.

Anyone know how long Hatem Ben Arfa will be gone? I guess his season is pretty much over, he broke both his tibia and his fibula. If hes lucky hell be back towards the end of the league.
De Jong is a dangerous ****ing player, he should not be allowed to play ever again.

Seeing liverpools fans bounce again & get out of hibernation encouraged me to pop up too.

I hope you've been enjoying my team & the new method of team management, building a team, buying sensibly, team spirit & last but not least entertainment. What more do you need? Love it.

Carroll has been star of the season so far, Barton is (by a mile) the best English midfielder till these words are writing & Tiote is just... Wooow. Our left side with Enrique & Gutierrez is just untouchable. Oh, it'll take me ages writing about the team.
Can I get greedy & think about playing in europe again! Let's wait n see.

It amazes me how no experts here had anything to say in the last 4 weeks about NUFC? Strange!

I like New Castle this year. Actually I love watching them play, they are a lot more entertaining than us.

Carroll has all the talent to be the English Drogba, and I rate Barton very highly as a footballer.

Can't believe Houghton's job was under threat a few weeks ago.......


However, New Castle have been astonishingly inconsistent so far.
I mean, they pull some magnificent reuslts (6-0 vs villa, 5-1 vs sunderland, 0-1 vs everton, 0-1 vs arsenal) but they disappoint horribly at home with losses to likes of Blackpool (same story with us here, I like their team though), Stoke, Blackburn and almost Wigan.

Just to think if they had one 1-2 of those on paper easy game, they'd be in the top 4 now.

Great team, great manager, happy to see them doing well.

WBA, Blackpool, New Castle and Bolton are 4 teams I want to do very well this year simply because all 4 play very nice football unlike a certain team in blue and while with Sam in charge

fixed the only thing i agree with u is the Carroll part, he should def be invited to england nt, ohh and barton will always be a scum, how ever good he plays!
