Yes they usually have always been...although they seem to have put a new training regime in place that has made the side show more extra huff and puff.

Looks like you are just a sore loser, we got a 100% deserved point, you played like shit (as expectid without Ronaldo) and all your fans went back to London drunk and realy happy with that point you got too.

PS: why did you leave out the part he wrote about you having Giggs....

      Howay the Toon.

        Two points dropped?!
        Manchester United 1 Newcastle 1
The Manchester muppets sang their awful "Cheer up Kevin Keegan" nonsense but they needn't have bothered as KK beamed his way out of Old Trafford with a deserved point.
But perhaps it could have been all three....
With the home side already missing some big names, they lost Michael Carrick and Ryan Giggs in the second half and our best chance in decades to beat the Red Devils away suddenly presented itself.
With Jonas Gutierrez having an outstanding debut and Fabricio Coloccini steady in defence, our lads grew in confidence as the Champions got frustrated.
Shay Given had made some outstanding saves in the first half - one with his head - to keep it goalless but against the run of play Obafemi Martins nodded us into a 22nd minute lead.
Our advantage lasted barely a minute as Darren Fletcher converted cross with Steven Taylor still receiving treatment off the pitch.
The home side certainly had the best chances and a solid defensive display was needed to keep us on terms but Martins and James Milner also wasted some good opportunities to get our noses in front again.
With the game finely balanced in an even second period, a Vidic header hit the bar but Martins nodded over from just a few yards out when Milner's corner landed on his forehead.
Some inevitable late pressure threatened to spoil our day and when Nicky Butt upended substitute Rafael Da Silva on the edge of the box, referee Mike Riley thankfully only awarded a free-kick that Wayne Rooney wasted.
Riley had earlier denied a reasonable handball shout against Milner and a foul by Vidic on Gutierrez as the notorious spot-kick giver showed some uncharacteristic restraint.
But there was no denying us the point we deserved as the Premier League's only drawn game ended all square to restore some pride after our two maulings last season.
But only three home points next week against Bolton Wanderers will make it a point gained at Old Trafford as we look to make a positive start to the season.
        Full match report to follow.
Team: Given, Beye, Taylor, Coloccini, N'Zogbia, Milner, Butt, Guthrie, Gutierrez, Duff, Martins.

        Goal: Martins 22.

Man Utd: Van der Sar, Brown, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Fletcher, Carrick (O'Shea 25), Scholes, Giggs (Possebon 63), Campbell (Rafael Da Silva 80), Rooney.
Subs n/u: Kuszczak, Neville, Evans, Gibson.

        Booked: Campbell, Brown, Rooney .

        Goal: Fletcher 24.

but we didnt lose . Is drawing against the toon meant to be an equivalent shame to losing ?

                      Home to Bolton

here we go again, back to St James' Park, KO is 3pm (i'll not be there but i'll be in Shearers bar just below the leazes end (north of the stadium).

So far it looks like we'll use the same 11 that we had against the mancsters as Owen is still not ready, Viduka & Barton are back in training but far far away from match fitness.

Bolton have 3 points after beating Stoke 3-1, they won that game but reports say that it was more of stoke being poor than them being good.

Last years games against bolton were: we won away 3-1 & drew at home 0-0.

                      Howay the lads.

If Geordiestan show the resilience they showed at Old Trafford, then I expect them to tear Bolton a new fun hole.

Last season they beat us 3-0 in the Emirated

We drew 1-1 at home! it was December and we were 20 points away from top 4. what crazy Geordie told you that :bs: .
Unless you are gone back 2 years ago and that was in the middle of the season when we were 16th.
You gotta know your football before you talk $hit my brother.

                              Oh, and this:
                              Return for Sender?
Friday brought renewed speculation that Newcastle were attempting to sign Swiss international Philippe Senderos from Arsenal.

Skysportsnews have claimed that United, AC Milan and a third unidentified side are all in talks to sign the 23 year -old defender from the Gunners.

Kevin Keegan refused to discuss individual players, but told reporters on Friday:

"We are looking for three more players before the deadline but they have to be the right players.

"We need one more defender, one midfielder and possibly a forward.

"We will keep looking right until the window closes on Monday night. We must get two or three more in, we know that and we will do it."

PS: It's now been confirmed that Juventus midfielder Tiago has turned down a loan move to Everton -
having been originally linked with a move to United.

3 points but with bad news

As we expected NUFC won the game and the 3 points.
Well, it was nothing as easy as it looks, we missed 4-5 chances to finish the game off in the 1st half by (martins, millner & duff) then in the last minute some defender from bolton charged like a tank agains duff and we played without him till end of the half (god knows what'll be the problem).
In the 2nd half martins missed an easy chance from a cross and pulled a groin in the prosess to be replaced by the un-fit (they say) Owen who missed an easy chance followed by one for Colochini.
In the middle of all that attack a cross by bolton was stoped by the numpty Tylor who hit it again (2 penaltys if you ask me).
Anyway, Nolan took it, Given saves, we went crackers, Owen scores we went even more crazy and i dropped my pint.

Anyway, 3 points but the price is god knows how long will we miss martins and duff for?

                                Yalla, bring on Arsenal.

                                Howay the lads.
