Heads up again.

Watta crazy week, and watta arazy way to end it.
2-0 down after half an hour (usualy wuth the toon thats game over) bus some how we scored 2 goals and came back.

Still some nigatives:
1- Butt: what is his job in the team? the guy cant pass, defend (unless he brakes someones leg), go forward or even tackle. Everton went 1 up with that stupid penalty while our defense was looking great.

2- Mmmmmmmm, cant think of enything else, to come from 2 nil down away in the middle of shitty club problems was more than great.

Next game we'll have Gutierrez & baye back. Bring on Man City.

PS: i hope Mr. capillo doesnt pick Owen (im sure he'll get injured with them useless ****ers) so please please dont pick him.

Striker Michael Owen believes Newcastle can still qualify for Europe despite their indifferent start to the season.

The Magpies won just one of their first nine Premier League games, but back-to-back home wins over West Brom and Aston Villa have elevated them to 14th.

"We know we're a decent team and we were in a temporary position," he said.

"If we have a decent run to the end of the season, and we'd expect that with the players we have, then fifth, sixth or seventh is by no means impossible."

Owen is United's leading scorer this season with five goals, although he has not scored since netting a penalty in the 2-1 home loss to Blackburn in September.

But he believes his side will maintain their recent form when they visit Fulham on Sunday.

"With our back-to-back wins we're going there thinking we're capable of taking something from the game," said Owen, who has dropped out of the England squad under new boss Fabio Capello.

"It's still early in the season and a couple of wins shoots you up the table, the last two results have shown that.

"And we are confident we can continue to climb."

Owen also praised the stabilising influence of much-maligned interim manager Joe Kinnear.

"He has steadied the ship," he said.

Why not, we beat villa (tipped to finish 5th) drew with everton away (coming back from 2-0, and drew 2-2 with man city after playing 85 minutes with 10 men and a penalty.
We can do it, why not.

NEWCASTLE United are hot on the trail of Wolfsburgs Germany under-21 international striker Ashkan Dejagah just in case they lose Michael Owen at the end of the season.
The Tehran-born striker has emerged as a United target after director of football Dennis Wise saw him play against the French under-21 side in Metz a fortnight ago.
Wise was watching Nices French winger Loic Remy, but was so impressed with the 22-year Dejagah he sent his scouts to the Allianz Arena the following weekend to watch Wolfsburg play Bayern Munich.
While the uncertainty continues at St Jamess Park, Wise is continuing with his job and, accompanied by his scouts Jeff Vetere and Lil Fucillo, he embarked on a spying mission to Metz.

Wise then met up with Uniteds interim manager Joe Kinnear at the Arsenal-Spurs match at the Emirates Stadium last Wednesday night.

Wise made a surprise first appearance at St Jamess Park last night since the departure of Kevin Keegan when, accompanied by managing-director Derek Llambias, he took in the reserves game with Hull City.

There was some talk in the south yesterday that Wise could be a candidate for the vacant managerial job at Watford following the sacking of Aidy Boothroyd, but I would be surprised if this turned out to be the case.

The Championship outfit have put their former player Malky Mackay in temporary charge.

The Chronicle revealed on October 2 that Kinnear was putting together a list of transfer targets just in case he still at St Jamess Park at the turn of the year.

Kinnear said: While we dont know what is happening long-term at the club, Dennis and myself are drawing up a hit list of players we could want in the January transfer window.

Kinnear is already on record as saying Newcastle need FIVE new players the sort of comment which, when made by Keegan, upset the Newcastle hierarchy.

Meanwhile, Wise and his scouting team have been spending a lot of time watching Watford in the past two weeks.

They like the look of their 20-year-old Harrow-born Republic of Ireland midfielder John OToole but so too do a lot of other clubs from the Premier League.

While Kinnear would want players who can come straight into his side in the Premier League, Wise will also continue with his policy of trying to acquire top young players.

He has been back to his former club Leeds United with a s1m bid for England under-19 midfielder Fabian Delph, but this was rejected by Elland Road supremo Ken Bates.

Bates, chairman at Stamford Bridge when Wise was a Chelsea star, has taken great pleasure in telling everyone he told his former manager where to go when he moved for Delph.

United fans will be hoping Wise is equally blunt with Harry Redknapp after the new Spurs boss has been talking up long-serving goalkeeper Shay Given in the past two days.

Aiii, crazy game, untill the 80th minut i wanted a point, at 1-1 we were killing them till we scored the 2nd and i wanted more.
89th minute and titus does it and scores.

Did you know that Wigan had 3 shots on goal? 2 went in and one hit the post? we had something like 15.

Next game i think will be big, i know we'll score one or 2 but chelsea will score 4 or 5.

I'll go for 5-2 chelsea.

Newcastle playing with 11 men behind the ball!! thats a first. but hell, it worked.

If anyone knows Newcastle, they know that we never sit and defend, even away to Manc U or liverpool even when we are a goal up whitch cost us 100's of points in the past (even the league in 1996).

But yesterday! it was like watching Italy in the 70's-90's Catanacho.
It worked tho, all chesea could do is try long distance shots at the end.

The point away to chelsea seems good but it'll not do anything to the table as all the teams arround us got points too, and probably by end of todays games we'll be in the bottom 3 again!!!.
