What do you mean? You guys need him. He has already scored 3 goals in 2 games since he has come back from injury and he is a very good leader. It's coz the team isn't performing that he wants to leave.

this club needs new ownership and new management that is willing to go out there and not just bring in big name players but talented players in and set the expectations higher.

I was just watching sky porsts news now and they said all that daily mail stuff is just bullshit.

I'll tell you guys this, he just turned 29 this week, if he leaves then the only club he'll go to will be Liverpool to end his career there, why go to Villa or Everton? So i think he's just waiting for a signal from Liverpool to go, if they dont call him this week then he'll stay here for the next 3 years. Plus if he goes it'll not be till the end of the season or someone needs to pay big to get him in January.

No, I'm saying that those are the best clubs for Owen. Sorry I forgot to mention that. Everton will most likely get Podolski, but Owen would play well alongside Robinho.

^^ I don't know about a keeper. Hart is probably England's best keeper at the moment. He is competing with Green I think. And Everton and Wigan are playing much better than Newcastle and are getting better results. Owen wants to win matches and play for a decent side. Yes Newcastle has a very good reputation, but the last few seasons have been terrible and Owen doesn't care about the money. Or else he would have accepted the offer.

Have you seen Wigan & Everton play? We drew with both of them (and should have won in both games), we'll play them again wigan away next week the everton at home and i'm sure we'll beat them.
I'd love to see them go to the mancs and chelsea and come back with a point?
I'll make two bets with you:
1- Owen to stay, and if he's gone its Liverpool.
2- We'll finish higher than Everton, Wigan and your new team Manc City .

News from the Toon:
Everyone is ready, Martins to have a late fitness test after the knock he got in the Portsmouth game.

We dropped to 15th today after the mackems (somehow!!) beat Hull 1-4??!!
Theres no chance of us going back to the bottom 3 this week even if we lose so its ok, a win tho will take us to 9th (depending on the other games).

For the first time i'm gonna watch the game with high confidence as i'm sure 90% we'll win. inshallah.
