FA Cup Latest: Hull City Victorious Against Newcastle United
The Toon Army come crashing down to Earth with a late strike from Hull City's Daniel Cousin on 81 minutes.
The Tigers, in their emergency third strip (last seasons' white away shirts and shorts due to FA stipulations), fielded a team of fringe players against the home team. The injury ravaged Newcastle team still had a host of internationals at their disposal but couldn't score in what was a lacklustre affair at best in front of a half-empty St. James' Park.
The home team came out strongly and had a few chances with Owen, Butt and Xisco coming close but they could not breach the Hull City defences. The main talking point of the first half was the sending to the stands of both managers. Brown and Kinnear were sent to the stands by referee O'Dowd for angrily remonstrating with him over the late challenge on Cousin by the booked Coloccini.

The second half started brightly for Newcastle again as Owen fired from close range but once again spurned his chance. the game stopped briefly as Hull City's stand-in captain George Boateng was carried off after 67 minutes because of a crunching tackle by Nicky Butt.
The Magpies could not consolidate their early second half chances and became increasingly edgy before some concerted pressure form the Tigers resulted in Cousin's 81st minute goal that sends them into a fourth round home tie with Millwall.
Teams:
Newcastle: Given, Edgar, Bassong, Coloccini, N'Zogbia, Gutierrez, Butt, Guthrie, Duff, Owen, Xisco. Subs: Harper, Taylor, Kadar, LuaLua, Carroll, Donaldson, Ranger.
Hull: Duke, Doyle, McShane, Zayatte, Ricketts, Fagan, Halmosi, Boateng, France, Garcia, Cousin. Subs: Warner, Ashbee, Mendy, Folan, Featherstone, Giannakopoulos, Atkinson.

No chance, i dont think Martins will leave, this or next season, it's just bullshit news + wenger is Keniears friend and told him that he is not intrested in any of our players, so that means it'll not be Arsenal.
Todays news:
The Magpies travel to Ewood Park to face their former boss Sam Allardyce, just over a year after he was relieved of his duties. Kickoff is at 3pm
NUFC: Given, Harper, Edgar. Bassong, Coloccini, N'Zogbia, Butt, Guthrie, Duff, Gutierrez, Owen, Xisco, LuaLua plus reserve players tbc.
Missing: Ameobi, Barton, Beye, Cacapa, Enrique, Geremi, Gonzalez, Martins, Smith and Viduka. (F**k me, this could be another premier league team by it self).
Doubtful: Carroll, Taylor.

Just Pure shite
Another crushing defeat, another sending off, more humiliation and heading for the Championship.
This club is now officially in meltdown.
Sulky, crocked players, a deluded temporary manager with verbal diarrhoea and an owner who can't sell and can't invest in the club.
Where on earth do we go from here?
And of course, referee Rob Styles couldn't miss the opportunity to twist the knife by awarding a penalty and sending off Nicky Butt.
To lose to such an ordinary Rovers side - who would have gone bottom had we avoided defeat - managed by the odious Allardyce just makes it all the more painful.
We may be 13th in the league but we are lucky not to be adrift in the bottom three at this stage, saved only by the surrounding mediocrity.
Two weeks remain to get something like a Premier League squad together to keep us in the top flight and judging on the body language at the end of the game, that won't include Shay Given who has surely seen enough.
And to think the bloke with the Billy the Fish haircut who is meant to be in charge was blathering on about a new contract before this shambles...................................................sigpic..........................................00000000 0000000000000000000000000..HOWAY THE LADS

We lost to Derby while teams were beating them 5-6 nil and lost 5-1 to your lot. thats when we had a full squad.
Unlike other teams in the relegation mess, we have another squad injured, and when they come back things will change.
You tell me this i'll pick 3 man unired players (not 11) and tell me what will happen.
1- Ronaldo 2- Rooney 3- Vedic.
Try 10-15 games without these 3 players and tell me if you'll manage top? we all know what happened when ronaldo was missing in the first 3-4 games of the season.
Now we have 11 (ok 10 as Barton is back now) but the one we miss most is martins then Baye as our whole right side is dead (geremi and baye even smith) so we have to play edgar and duff, charlie or jona (leftys) on the right.
The good news is we are off for 11 days whitch will give us a chance to recover and sort thigs out.
Ironicly, our next game is Manc City away whitch might be Kaka's debut................................................sigpic..........................................00000000 0000000000000000000000000..HOWAY THE LADS

Kinnear hits out at predecessors
Newcastle boss Joe Kinnear believes the club's poor form is the fault of the previous managers at St James' Park.
They are only two points off the drop zone after Saturday's 3-0 defeat by Blackburn, whose boss is former Magpies manager Sam Allardyce.
Kinnear feels Allardyce and his successor Kevin Keegan are to blame.
He said: "Our biggest problem is a lack of strength in depth. Why wasn't it addressed by the previous two managers? I am carrying the can for it."
Kinnear, who claimed this week he has been offered a "lucrative" contract to stay at the helm past the end of the season, is optimistic owner Mike Ashley will provide money to strengthen the squad.
"I have spelled out the gravity of the situation," he added.
"I say, 'We're not prepared for anything like the disaster we face and you've got to realise the importance of that'.
"I want to be judged on what I bring in. The depth of the first-team squad is not right at the moment.
"We must look to stay up this season and have a big clear-out in the summer and address everything completely differently."
Kinnear admits he fears the Magpies could drop to the Championship next season.
"I lie in bed and worry and dread this situation. I'm a proud fella and I don't want to be relegated," he said.
