Yeah i read about that.. they are targeting some of our young guns like taylor and n'zoghbia.. but roeder, like u said, declined big time.. they are the future and they sure are looking good at this moment. Hopefully we draw or win tomorrow to see us thru to the final 8.. I gottta get my hands on some tickets for the uefa cup final in glasgow if newcastle make it inshallah! should be good! and once again anothr disappointment.. after an amazing run we are out.. this kind of display is awful.. We need to seriously think twice about buying new defenders from scratch for a fresh start next season.. oh well theres always next season now that we have a stable manager and hopefully a fully recovered team. Lets just hope now we can get into the uefa cup automatically rther then having to play extra games in the intertoto cup to qualify.// disappointing!

Same old story (55-60 % of the ball posetion was with us but we did nowt) then they scored (the guy from China, watch out iran) then we cullapsed and they scored a penalty.
For the first time in my life i left a game (in the pub) before the end (87th minute). thats how crap we were.

"At a Disciplinary Commission hearing today, a charge against Newcastle United midfielder Belozoglu Emre was judged to be not proved.

"In its decision, the Commission stated that:

'having heard all the evidence presented, and having regard to the standard of proof agreed with both The FA and Newcastle United, we were not satisfied that the Charge was proved.'

"Emre was charged on 12 January with using racially-aggravated abusive and/or insulting words during the match against Everton at Goodison Park on 30 December 2006. He denied the charge and requested a personal hearing."

Aiii, i just got back from a shop called the backpage (in newcastle) its just 200 yards behind St James' Park. they told me there that Next season we'll be 10 times better (as Owen will be up forward with Oba), Dyer & Ameobi from the start of the season, same for the gootch, plus we'll get 3 new players.
No other team in the world had the number of injuries we had this season.

this is our new top, it'll be out on the 2nd of may, we'll have it for the 07-08 and 08-09 seasons, the away kit is not out yet but will be out before september and will be used for one season. and as you all know, we will not have a europe one for next season coz we were crap.

The new home kit for seasons 2007/08 and 2008/09 has been revealed and although some of you have expressed displeasure at the amount of black in it, our headline refers to something else....
Wondered where they got the inspiration for the design? We suspect they did what we did with this season's shirt, and popped it into a graphics package and chose the "negative image" filter.......................
