Big game tomorrow, i know that all eyes will be on the Manks game but after this we will have 3 games at home (against chelsea, arsenal) then blackburn. so we have to win if we want to make europe.

Well we won against sheffield united... hopefully tht will spark something for us at the end of the season.. We do need european competition.. a mean atleast a hope for a cup or something... we shall see.. Faith it is man.. its always the case with the toon army fans... if none of them had faith, newcastle wouldnt ahve as many supporters as they do today.. we are known as one of the most loyal fans there are out there!

“Mick, you're a liar... you're a ****ing wanker. I didn't rate you as a player, I don't rate you as a manager, and I don't rate you as a person. You're a ****ing wanker and you can stick your ****ing World Cup up your arse. The only reason I have any dealings with you is that somehow you are the manager of my country! You can stick it up your bollocks.”

Niall Quinn observed in his autobiography that “Roy Keane's 10-minute oration [against Mick McCarthy, excerpted above] ... was clinical, fierce, earth-shattering to the person on the end of it and it ultimately caused a huge controversy in Irish society.”

Truth be told, now Keano and McCarthy have patched things upsigpic

Owen is back
Tuesday saw both Michael Owen and Shola Ameobi make a playing return for Newcastle in a behind closed doors friendly match against Scottish side Gretna.
Both players netted in a 4-1 success and came through the test apparently unscathed, with recent injury victim Peter Ramage also continuing his comeback in the fixture.
Luque, Bramble, O'Brien and N'Zogbia also featured in the game, with Brendan McGill on target for the visitors.
