Good news for Iran's Fustal Team.!!

Iran's national futsal team will not need to compete in preliminary matches to qualify into the 2006 Asian futsal championships. In efforts to reduce costs, the AFC decided in a November 29th meeting to automatically qualify the Asian standings' top 13 teams into the Asian futsal championships. Twelve teams are therefore set to compete in preliminary matches while the top 13 teams automatically qualify.

Current Asian rankings are as follow:
    1- Iran
    2- Japan
    3- Kyrgyzstan
    4- Uzbekistan
    5- Thailand
    6- Kuwait
    7- Tajikistan
    8- China
    9- Palestine
    10- Iraq
    11- Indonesia
    12- Taiwan
    13- Lebanon

They are 9th in the world and uuhh i could go on with the list a long time.

Iran is a very strong team in the world
Their league is 1 of the best in the world
3-4 iranian players are some of the best in the world

We are challenging the world but the last campaign of ours in the world cup was really very dissepointing and we hope to really do good this time...because we have the caliber to replay what we did in 1994

The rest of asia has closed the gap on Iran, we need to make sure it never surpasses us. I hope we get better management, someone who isn't abusive to his players.

          I'm surprised Thailands 5th, would've thought 3rd.
