Well when that calling out happened and they had that little stare down in the UFC ring, nothing had actually been signed. Pride and UFC never came to an agreement after that.

Rampage has beaten Liddel, his stand-up is amazing really for a guy with a wrestling background. I expect him to give Liddel a run for his belt.

Like wise, i seem to recall liddle getting his butt kicked over @ pride a few years back. The UFC PPV on 2/3/07 with the debuts is going to be a pretty crappy PPV, a buch of no names on the under card, the PPV on 3/3/07 ...... now thats the one im looking forward to, just look @ the card its not completly filled yet and it already looks better than the 2/3/07 PPV.

Well true there are no names on the under card, but 2 of those guys that have no names are arguably the 2 best untapped fighters in N.America. Tyson Griffin is the future I think, at 155lb, he'll shine soon enough. And Lyoto Machida well he's beaten huge names in MMA, 2 of whom were title belt holders in the UFC. He KOed Rich Franklin for his first ever loss, in devastating fashion, and also beat Bj Penn, granted Bj Penn was fighting 40/50lbs over what he should be.

Can't wait for this event, Travis Lutter has sick BJJ and could catch Silva.

to catch silva he has to go through my BOY BRANDON VERA (outta San Diego) who i think is going to get a shot @ Silva next.!!!! but if you think it will be a good PPV and recomend it ill order it, I just hope its not like Ortiz Shamrock 3..... that was a complete waste of $50 bucks.

The only person who needs a gun would be Fedor cause there is no other way he would win against the King Crocop
Good one...Cro will get killed by Fedor...

I think you've confused Silva, with Sylvia. Silva is the Brazilian 185lb title holder who's fighting Lutter.

According to some sources your boy Brandon Vera might not even fight for the UFC. His contract is up, and he's trying to cash in, so the biggest bidder will sign him, and that might not be UFC.

You are absolutly correct i apologize my mistake. Brandon took the UFC by storm if the UFC doesnt pay up they will be losing one of their most promising young fighters, but who knows maybe a couple years of Pride would make him a better all around fighter. I appriciate all of your info, do you know what other MMA unions are in the running for his contract? and what do you think about my boy Brando Vera? I think he's one hell of a fighter, very well rounded and young.

Wat makes u think that?? He was beaten by Fedor on points and i also know a lot about MMA, especially Pride because it is far superior to UFC. And Mirco a while back threatened to leave Pride if he doesn't get his rematch and guess what he didn't.

All i can say is Mirco left Pride the Ultimate Champion so you guys say what you want but Mirco is the current GP winner and that is the ultimate title in Pride.

Fedor is great no doubt but Mirco is rated one of the all time greatest Martial Artist.

Cant wait till the fight night.

To all those that were saying its not that good what more could u ask for. Silva in a title fight. Rampage and King Mirco. That to me looks AWESOME.

Well you're absolutely right, Brandon Vera is the real deal, and a lot of MMA fans know that. And the great thing about him is he could probably win the HW title and drop down and fight Liddel or whoever is the 205 champ at the time. From what I hear I think he wants a bidding war for his services, and thats logical because the UFC doesn't pay very well. But if he stays with UFC, he has higher chances of endorsement deals. Hopefully he stays he's got a great style.

Babk jan, you remind me so much of CC fans, they never seem to surprise me. They're very adamant about who the best MMA fighter is. CC did lose on points, but he lost in the most surprising area, the area everyone thought he wold dominate, in fact the only area he could dominate. Standing up everyone said CC will kill Fedor, until Fedor can get him on his back. Well Fedor didn't need to, CC was being beaten on his feet. But hey this isn't the end, CC himself said he still wants to come back to Pride and fight Fedor, because he wants the belt.

I see your point bro but Fedor knows he was lucky with the win, otherwise the rematch would have happened. It was completely up to him and it never happed. To me that is fear.

The worst thing is that the UFC is soft and if that day comes when Crocop does fight Fedor it will work against Mirco as the rules in UFC are much much softer then Pride.
Ie. Kick in the head when down and knee to the head when down.

Babak jan, CC is a god in Japan, he's far more popular than Fedor can ever hope to be in Japan. Pride officials love CC and knew this, and were hoping for him to win. Fedor isn't marketable he's too stoic. I'm like you hoping for a re-match.

Also the UFC is soft in that sense but they have no choice, the Nevada and California athletics commission won't allow strikes like that, what's odd is though they allow elbows, something that Pride doesn't allow. Can't wait for this upcoming event.

Same here man, i have been watching CC for nearly 10 years now. Ever since his big rivalry with Hoost in the K1. Then i saw him fight big names like Silva and Fedor. However its weird that this fight is my most anticipated one.

I feel like CC needs to prove himslef to the world now as UFC has become bigger then Pride and maybe it will show Pride what they really lost. UFC is really smart for bringing him over, he will boost the sport even more.

CC is such a professional and a real gentleman off the field. This may sound biased but i really feel he is a great ambassador to the sport.

http://67.ufc.com/ <----click on Crocop bro, the pros speak for themselves.

Personally I hate CC, I'm a huge fan of him in the ring but outside the ring I've always disliked how he carried himself. He's bashed too many of his colleagues for my liking.

Hoost is a machine, it was him who trained Fedor in stand-up before his bout with CC, so I guess he gave him his secrets about CC.

I don't get what you mean about bashing his collegues bro. Could you please explain what you meant.

If Fedor was trained in stand up by Hoost then that has a lot to do with why Fedor did well in the ring. Hoost was the best KickBoxer ever i rekon.

Well one recent instance was he was insulting Silva on his behavior after a fight Silva won. Silva just KO'd this Japanese fighter who's got an incredibly thick skull, and celebrated after wards by jumping on the corner ropes. Mirko said Silva was acting like a monkey and that he himself would never do anything like that. Hypocrit really since he's done the same heres proof at the end of this video. I don't like how Mirko carries himself outside the ring thats all. I guess I wish he was just more modest.
