He's Sweden's best player since Larsson.

they should give him a break. he just got a son and a new girl friend, of course he wants to spend time with them instead of flying to cairo for a useless friendly. the swedes are good at pointing at other's and saying what they're doing wrong etc, especially if it is someone who isn't swedish. I've never heard them bashing ljungberg or zetterberg for not wanting to play with the national team in friendlies like this.

That might be his blood but he grew up in Sweden, like Larsson.

We're gonna beat Sweden again inshallah, and I want Rami Shaaban to start at keeper for them. The punk snubbed Egypt for Sweden and Cairo has been counting down the days till revenge.

Yeah he used to play for Arsenal and did really well there until he broke his leg. He had applied for an Egyptian passport and he said himself that Arsenal was helping him with the paperwork. When he broke his lek he wasn't wanted anymore, not with the gunners nor in Egypt. He now plays in Norway and took his chance when Isaksson of Manchester City became injured earlier in 2006. Ever since he's stepped in the national team he's been one of the better players and I think he's a great goalkeeper. He played great against Spain earlier in the fall, and I remember him as a great shotstopper when he used to play in Sweden 5 years ago as well. He beat Isaksson in his Swedish club then, and he's beaten Isaksson in the national team now.
