    and by the way , VIVA ITALIA , its better 4 u to watch that italian matches , and dont argue about C.Ronaldo and EPL.so pLz...
    i was C.Ronaldo supporter and i am , and i will be !!!
    and u can just support that fags like Gatusso ...

      that was clearly a dive by figo. yahya pulled his leg back fast. he didnt even really touched figo.

      but the portuguise got what they deserved vs france. the henry-dive was the crappiest of the whole WC, crappier than figos.

      but still I learned to like them

            Never saw Van Basten, Baggio, Pele, Maldini, even Ronaldo dove...Never! Great players and athletes don't need to cheat.

            C.Ronaldo might be a genious, but he certainly is not an athlete (Pahlevan).

            And you guys need to get your facts streight...either you support diving or not. If yes, then shut up and admire the divings by some Italians, if not then shut up and condemn Ronaldo's cheatings and divings. it's called double standard...

              Today's soccer is different than days that Pele, Maradona and others were playing..Its a different style...
              Its not double standard. Grosso dove in the 90th minute to earn a PK for Italy against Australia, I can respect that. Its fine with me even though he dove, I am not sure if this is cheating.. I would have probably done the same thing if my team was in need of a win in the 90th minute...Players always do things to trick the ref. and earn PKs, Free kicks, corner kicks, etc...Smart veteran players even intimidate and get in opposing players heads and make them get yellow or red cards...Also, many smart forwards force defenders to foul them (by thier tricky moves or speed) to earn free kicks, or PKs. Or many times, when the defender is coming from behind to catch up and tacke the ball from the offensive player, the smart forward put his body or legs in front of the defender so the referee would call a foul on the defender (sometimes its a yellow card also)...
              I can go on and on with examples like these..I think they are part of the game and its done all the times...I call it being a smart player and not a cheater....

                Good defenders do not make mistakes, especially in important games.

                  I never wanted to talk to you about foreign football because of the reasons I already told you. But I want everyone to remember this bolded quote of you forever.

                  SO Deep inside you admired Materazzi for getting into Zidane's head. So deep inside you achknowlede that he is indeed a smart and great defender. and if he was Brazilian instead of Italian, he would be worshipped by you.

                  But about diving, No, I never ever liked cheating in sports. Even from my teams. Never like to win a game with cheating. It has happend some occasions that Milan had earned an unjust penalty kick and won the game. I never liked it. It questions the meaning of sportsmanship.

                  It's just me. and sorry to say that, but you guys need to revisit your morality books, if you consider diving as sharpness! I'm sure Del Piero, Ronaldo, Maldini, Adriano and ... can dive even prettier and better than this fellow, but they don't. They simply don't need to!

                    That chip was really unbelievable and I and every other member were posting about the scene even six months after the Asian Cup but rofl you're @ 'his multiple own goals in important matches' and 'his causing penalties'.

                    How many own goals has he scored? 10 or 20? As far I as I remember he scored an own goal against Qatar which wasn't his fault at all. If he wouldn't have touched the ball that Qatari striker would have scored.

                    And him causing penalties? First of all he didn't touched Figo at all, but he could have acted better in that situation but please tell me how many other penalties he had caused during his time for Team Melli.

                    I remember Rahman Rezaei causing a penalty in one of the most important matches of his life. Does that makes him a bad defender? Damn that stupid Blazevic should have used a younger defender because we had tons of better defenders

                        Viva,

                        You are taking that one sentence out of context. It should be read and understood as a part of my whole logic and argument.
                        Again you misunderstood what I was trying to say. Let me try to say it differently for you. Smart players are not the same as Dirty players. They are two different things. C. Ronaldo is a smart forward but Materrazi is a Dirty defender. I have never and will never admire or like Materrazi becuase he is a dirty player. FYI, deep inside I hate Materrazi. It is okay to play rough soccer at times but not dirty. This is my motto at all times. Materrazi is different from C. Ronaldo becuase he cusses at other players to get in thier heads, he pushes them, elbows them, kicks them behind referee's eyes, etc. to get in thier heads. This is called a dirty play. Even though he might force the other the player to retaliate and receive a yelow or red card (i.e. what he did with Zizou) but I dont admire this. What Ronaldo and other smart forwards do to earn points, FK, PK, and etc. are not dirty, they are smart plays...For example, if I cuss at your mom or sister during a soccer game and you hit me and referee gives you a red card, I am not considered a smart player but dirty player. But if I make some nice dribbles or moves and force you to make a mistake then take advantage of the situation, its a dirty play but a smart play. This might not be fair, ethical or moral but a football match is not a morality contest.

                        In summary, C. Ronaldo is a genius and I predict that he will win the world player of the year very soon, probably in 3 years..Remember he is only 22 and he is already exciting to watch..Ronaldinho at 22 was still relatively unknown..

                          he has scored at least 3-4 goals on tm. His decision to slide tackle in the box was a stupid one, and Figo took advantage of it. We do have better younger defenders in Nosrati, Montazeri, Hosseini.

                            You are trying so hard to justify a dirty act of a sissy player. Let me clarify it for you:

                            Diving=Cheating=unsportsmanship conduct=yellow card
                            Cursing=unsporsmanship conduct=yellow card

                            so the difference here is that Diving is cheating, but cursing is not cheating. What's the honor of cheating in a game (like Manchester and Tottenham) that your poor opponent has nothing but a little luck in defending? then this Ahole gets that chance and hope away by an "smart" dive? What's the honor in it? they could still win the game by a large margin if he hadn't done that dive. It's like US going to war with Angola and still uses nucular weapons!! Sure, you are smarter and have the nucliar power and you use it! but is it fair? who cares, it's war!

                            But is football a war? or just a sport? What's Fifa's motto before each game? isn't it FAIRPLAY? the word that this guy doesn't know how to spell...

                            But don't worry my friend...soon Platini will propose using TV in the football games and all these cheaters can go to hell...

                            and Mark my word: no one likes cheaters like C.Ronaldo. He won't win anything unless he becomes a man and plays like a man.

                                I try to remove all the painful memories of Golmo from my mind, so I don't remember all the games he scored against us. However I will narrow it down to between 2003-2006 including all friendlies.
