Normally Id say Spain but Portugal has definetely risen as the better team. Thanks in large part to C. Ronaldo

i'd say portugal. spain has the better league, but they always fail as a team. portugal on the other hand don't have as many foreigners in their league so their own players are given more of a chance and they improve, which is good for their NT.

And Amir, u say Ronaldo i say it is Deco. I luv Ronaldo but Deco is the player that changes a game in a heartbeat.

And i feel spain went downhill when Morientes went down, cause Raul and Morientes were awesome together.

Both team however...will always underachieve.

I agree on Portugal and Deco, obviously Ronaldo is amazing but Deco is the maestro behind it all.

Spain has some very strong youths at the moment, Villa, Silva, Torres, Ramos etc. Spain is paying the price for it now starting young squads but the pay off will be in a year or two.
