A tale of two Ronnies for Barca

Barcelona are reportedly ready to sacrifice Ronaldinho in order to lure Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo to the Nou Camp.

The Daily Mirror claim this week's clash between Barca pair Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto'o has reinforced the belief of president Joan Laporta that they can't co-exist in the squad next season.

And Laporta is now willing to cash-in on one of the two in order to convince Ronaldo that he will be the major star at the club, should he decide to leave Old Trafford.

A club source told the Mirror: "The view of president Joan Laporta is that one of them will have to go to make Ronaldo want to come and at the moment that would probably be Ronaldinho."
