Why is that funny? He's pretty solid isn't he? I think this might be a sign that Ferrari is leaving, he's garnered a lot of interest. If Roma want a Brazilian defender to match their style they'll dish out a lot of money for Werders Naldo. I doubt Werder would let him go though.

Coloccini would fit Roma's style perfectly if they are willing to spend the money. He has a very close style as Puyol does.

Chivu plays LB Soheil jan, but yes Chivu is amazing. Roma has a very under-rated back line. Panucci has been one of the best RB this year, and easily the best Italian RB. Right now the combo is Panucci-Ferrari-Mexes-Chivu but they need insurance if any of those players go down. LB-RB they can fit one of their many mid in, but the CB position needs more depth.

Oh and finally people will take notice in Totti, and Roma with them doing so well in CL. Totti would deserve player of the year award if it was to be given today. Bye Bye Lyon!!
