These bans are too cheap. Always Bayern, Van Bommel, Kahn, Lucio.
The match against Manchester United a few years ago perhaps gone crazy at all.

Mark van Bommel has had a suspension overturned and will be free to play in Bayern Munich's quarter final second leg against Milan.

The Dutch international was initially banned for one match after having been sent off for receiving two yellow cards in the Germans' last 16 second leg clash with Real Madrid.

But since he was already serving a suspended sentence for gesturing at Real fans in the first leg, van Bommel was told he would have to sit out the second leg against Milan as well.

Bayern appealed on the grounds that his second offence could not be regarded as a contravention of his suspended sentence, as it was not a straight red card.

UEFA have accepted the appeal, and the two-match ban has been cut back to one, meaning the influential midfielder will be available for selection for the second leg against Milan at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern coach Ottmar Hitzfeld said: "I am pleased that UEFA have taken a sensible decision. There is also a degree of relief [in the decision]."

Van Bommel himself added: "I have had a bit of a strange feeling over recent days, but I was confident that the judgement would be overturned.

"We didn't expect anything else since you cannot be banned for two matches for two yellow cards."

You guys got it wrong only lucio refused to take it but did it afterward not immediately. Kahn took the test but treated the Doping test official bad so he got suspended and fined.

I remember Gattuso refused a doping test 2 years ago in the CL.

                  nothing happened.
