Portugal finshed runners up but they definately were the best team of the tournament even though they lost the final (that was a fluke on Greece's behalf!)

Holland is a fan favorite which explains why they're been getting the nods here. I hate Portugal but they play the most exciting football I've seen in years. If only they could get a legit big man as their striker.

khob... that showes something doesn't it... if you cant winn in front of 60.000 of your own people against greece,,, they are just not as big as some people think they are... they still can't handle the pressure of playing a final in a big tournament... but I agree they play beautiful

w/ quaresma on portugal, i think i would have to give the nod to portugal, despite them having cristiano ronaldo, the worst player in the world, and holland having the great van persie. But quaresma is just too rediculous

but keep in mind we are comparing the current national teams. There are some dutch players in the world who are really good but arent on the national team, like makaay and seedorf. There are a couple others but i forgot...if you count those guys then its much closer.
