anyways, what a second half by Bayern today...3-0 away victory to Hanover.
Toni had a hatrick..well one the Bavarians.

i was just about to post the same thing armin jan!

we soorakhed anderlecht in belgium itself 5-0:
altintop(10), toni(45), klose(57), podlski(67) & ribery(87) all scored.

anderlecht saw one of thei players sent of in the 43rd minute.

now, we can consier ourselves through the round of 16, and ready to destroy the next opponent in the quarter finals.

Getafe coming to town tomorrow...I hope the bavarian giants take care of the spanish at home and go to spain next week with no pressure...not giving up an away goal will be crucial.

Boy talk about BAD LUCK of biblical proportions for lowly Getafe.

Having a man sent off in the first 7 min, Getafe still managing to take the lead and we almost through before a defensive lapse allowed Ribery to equalise in the final minutes of normal time to take the game towards extra time.

Then Getafe struck back with their 10 men again, and scored 2 in extra time and were all set for that, before a goalkeeper blunder allowed Toni to get one back and then in the final seconds of extra time head the ball home to break Getafe hearts.

Talk about being cruel.

So now off to Zenit St. Petersburg for the Bavarians in the UEFA Cup semis

same thing happened to real last year. we always meet bayern in the champions league and beat them, but away goals + roberto carlos horror up gave it to them.
