as u can see,, kahn has won a great deal of individual honors from different tournaments and organizations from all around the world and europe.
casillas has just been nominated in best team of the tournament, best team of this month, blah blah... only twice 2nd best GK of the world in 2002 and 2003. even in 2006 and 2007 when there wasnt major compeition from GKs around the world, he ended 3rd and 4th!!!
didnt wannt include those crap bravo and bambi awards that both of them have won.
but never, BEST PLAYER OF A TOURNAMENT, or BEST GK OF THE YEAR, or BEST PLAYER OF THE YEAR!

buddy, FIFA rankings are flawed as well. so wat, so now we are gonna ignore the FIFA awards as well, so u can "rest ur case"??

face it,, its extremely difficult to come up with an accurate point system to rank teams, clubs more than countries.

secondly, the same institute has awarded other GKs awards as well.

thirdly, all the awards Kahn has are not from the same association including FIFA.

so take ur camel somewhere else

well, at the moment IFFHS awards are the awards closest to the best awards in GK. so until another award system takes over with more precision, this is the best we got and frnakly, it aint all that bad.
it only hurts u to see the results, so ur trying to put them down with those lame arguments like a camel can make a better system, my grandma can do better, etc...

i have no problem with the results. but if casillas is not chosen for 2008 then i will; because i am a supporter of justice. btw, isnt it interesting how kahn didnt win any awards from age 27 and less?

thats the problem, just because u have an opinion doesnt mean its justice. a group of experts and officials make the decisions. so its more credible than any single PFDC member or group of PFDC members opinion.

Bayern Munich looked better last year, i saw the highlights of one of the games and they played pretty bad even though they won like 3-0 i think.

damn, what a game...much better game than the 1-0 scoreline suggests...we were lucky at times as they missed some very good chances and hit the post a few times...bayern also missed a couple of good chances, but the important thing is that we won and got three points from a very good St. Bucharest team and I am pretty sure this team will get points from Lyon and the Italians at home so what bayern achieved today in Bucharest, was no easy task...we start CL with leading the table after match day 1 and next game at home but a tougher apponent.
