he and boulahrouz formed a good combination.. but boulahrouz covered for him very much.

also, one more thing is, hamburg and bayern dont have the same expectations specially when it comes to champions league.
he may somehow be able to do it in bundesliga but in champions league, he can really be a liability..

well most of those irani Byern fans are kinda old timers like me, and some of are the slightly younger generation who became fan through their signing of ali daie and hashemian and later karimi.
about 25 years or so back the only coverage of european football was a 15-30 minute or shorter? sport show on tv which would air only a 2 or 3 times weekly(hell... back in the day there was NO coverage of any tv programing until after 4-5 pm daily ..anyways..!!) and all they would broadcast in that sport show was some local sport news and few minutes of the goals and highlights of the Europes Elite teams back in the day..!!(mid to late 80s)
teams like Byern Munich, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Liverpool were the Shitt..!! we hardly knew many other teams competing in their respective leagues..!!
hence you see many of us old timers(like me or PB) who were raised in those day and age, favor more than just ONE european Elite team !!? and not be such hard core, 1 team only die hard fans like the youngins these days who have access to history and present of every team in the world..!!
personally i liked Byern back in the days because of karlheiz Romenigue ...!!he was my main childhood idol..!!
and of course later because of Ali Karimi,..!! but then again because of karimi's last year there i started to disslike them..!!

I started supporting Germany since 1990 World Cup, so I automatically became a fan of Bayern Munich cause they were the only German club I knew back then.

lol pretty much same as me...except that I became a fan of Germany in 88 and ironically when they lost at home to the Netherlands lol

not really, it was an away game vs a very decent bundesliga team, and altho I agree that we should have won, it was not a disaster to get a point. Next week at home vs a WBremen team that lost at home the first week, so that's a must win game and need the points to go up the table with 4 points.

wat was he thinking that daniel van buyten can replace lucio?

also, we dont have a #10 in the team.. and bayern useless management didnt buy a decent GK....

very sad but the whole management should change, they are not that productive anymore!
