Cracking goal by Robben. I really fear this guys pace and ability to beat players with pace and trickery. I think Evra can deal with him, however Park may be shifted to left-wing to 'double up' on Robben, and it would work.

his selfishness still worries me, in bigger matches, he will not be given so much space and bayern cant create so many chances!

wats even more worrysome is ribery not being on form and our defense injury situation

now here's my question from Mr. VanGal, which btw has done a great job so far...Why would you play your star player in a game 3 days before a big CL clash knowing he has played 2 full games in the past week, one of which lasted 120 min!!!! I was thinking on Wed after the Schalka match that Van Gal will probably rest Robin and even a few more, but now Robin gets injured and although even with Robin against ManU, we were the underdog, w/out him, ...oh well.

I still have faith in Bayern and I say the pressure is on the english and Bayern could after all pull it off!

Anyone knows on Robin's inury? is he def out of the Tuesday Manu clash?

van gaal rested both of them in first half, he brought them in the second half.

ribery is not in form, robben will most probably miss the first leg at least.

demichellis is back, so now atleast we can have a CB on the bench unless van gaal plays badstuber as LB and pairs up demichellis and van buyten again in the heart of defense.
on the other hand, contento is also back, i know he isnt that great and he is inexperienced but e is much better than alaba.

we are also missing gomez and schweinsteiger in the first leg. goemz is injured, schweini is suspended.

so we might see pranjic and van bommel in the middle although i must say i hate pranjic, i find him totally useless.
i prefer tymoschuk and van bommel in midfield, and van bommel advancing forward and taking shots on goal. he has good power and accuracy on his shots but lately he has been staying back in midfield with schweini doing more of the movement upfront.

once again, in the most crucial moment, we face injuries and suspensions just like last year, this sux!
we dont have striker options, we dont have defender options and we hardly have 1 or 2 midfielders to choose from.

we let go of toni, lucio, ze roberto, brafheid and breno and now we have a hugely depleted squad!

our formation against man utd will probably be:

wat a sucky formation specially with ribery and muller not on form and klose way past his prime and average players like pranjic and contento...

i hope van gaal plays tymoschuk and van bommel and benches the useless panjic. also contento is too inexperienced, i hope demichellis and van buyten play in the middle with badstuber on the left even though demichellis is not on form either.

honestly, my hope is on olic or van buyten scoring for us, even ribery is not doing well these days.

watever happens, i hope we dont concede in the first leg!

Although I also blame Robin for a lot of selfish plays, he is the only man who has led the team to where we are and w/out him, we have no real shot against Manu. Again, I hope I am wrong.

The fact is playing Robin and even Ribbery, even for 10 min on the weekend was a risk that Van Gaa took and now we have to do w/out our most influential player.

Robin's issue is now a game time decision, but probably won't make the 1st leg in Munich tomorrow.

Bayern's d is weak. I think they are going to have a very tough time containing Rooney. We saw what Jovetic did to them, imagine what Rooney can do. I still think its going to be a great two-legs though. Bayern maybe able to pull the upset.

Bayern could win like 4-5 to 0 if they let Altintop play both games for 90 minutes

CSKA have a great chance of eliminating Inter....it sounds outrageous, but mark my words

also, United always find it hard against French teams, they had problems a few years ago with Lille, and a couple of years ago barely beat Lyon.

imagine United do the double and Liverpool finish outside of top 4
