wow I am already in heaven with all 3 teams remained being my favorites! Its the first time its happening since I started following religously in 1987.

But this game kinda remminded me of WWII. The germansfelt more at home in France than germany itself

but our CBs and our GK are mediocre which should have been dealt with first! the other signings are great, but mostly a luxury to have!

well ribery also wasnt available until last game, so with his presence we would have good creativity upfront. robben only made it stronger.

but i think our defense is mediocre and so is our GK and that makes the whole combination very weak.
as it is, with lucio and demichellis, we were average defensively,and now in the absence of both and no improvement in the GK dept, i really dont have any hope for this team.

ofcoures, it depends wat ones expectations of bayern are.
if we just want to win another bundesliga title and make it to the round of 16 or quarter finals, then yea, its enough, but im tired of this. it has been the same for many years now, we need to start improving!

we also have one of the best fullbacks in the world but so wat? how far can they take us? specially with robben being so injury prone and ribery leaving us next year? if we want to do something, this year is our only major opportunity!

robbern and ribery have to break through the likes of terry, chiellini, ferdinand and puyol, while messi, kaka, torres,ronaldo and zlatan have to break through the likes of daniel van buyten and badstuber!

another quarter finals exit (at best) in champions league is wat u want?

born in 75. started watching football in 82 and following to the degree that a 7 year old does but starting with the 1986 WC I have been following international football RELIGIOUSLY!! so my first champions league final was one of the worst (1987 Bayern 1 - Porto 2) and that after Bayern had beat Real Madrid 4-1 in the semis

kachal, bayern have done much more than anyone INCLUDING themselves expected.
i already told u that the bayern managements target for this years CL was quarter finals which was mentioned by themselves as well.
i recommend u listening/reading to arjen robbens interview after yesterdays game as well.

P.S. one major reason why we reached this far is robben's unbelievable form but we all know how injury prone he is, so lets keep our fingers crossed for robbens health and safety for atleast another 3 weeks

Unfortunately, Ribery is banned for the final game. On the other hand, he was not missed against Lyon. What do you think? Is he going to be missed for the final?

However, Uefa have decided to ban Ribery for three games for serious foul play after reviewing the incident.

Like i said, UEFA would have reviewed the incident to see if it was really a harsh tackle, and make a judgement. To be honest, I thought Platini would've allowed Ribery to play in final, simply because he's french..

Anyhow, Ribery's guile and trickey would obviously be missed. Maybe vs Lyon, you could not find any difference, but lets be honest, Lyon were a very poor team in the two legs.

Shame to them who said ribery is overrated. He is one of the best in the World in his position. However right now robben is in better shape but Ribery is high class.
They will miss him in the final
