Ok, I agree with you but check this:
The former Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Basler criticised the current Bayern squad in an article for German tabloid BILD. With regard to Karimi he said that Karimi should only be allowed to wear the Bayern jersey after having paid for it in a fan shop.
Eeeh? what the hell is that?
Its on the Iranian forum, why didn any of ya Bayern fans say anything about this here?
By the way, Basler played in Qatar 3-4 years ago for Al Rayyan, I've seen him with my own eyes (he sucked) all he can do is free kicks (a bit like Beckham but with an ugly face and slower running).

who cares about what some player says...i remember him well from his playing days and he was a decent player actually,,,regardless, players who retire make comments like this a lot and now we are acting super sensetive because it was about karimi, but again, because he says it, it doesn't make it true, therefore, to me, it's not even worth discussing.

i know what you mean, since 99 many iranians have supported bayern due to daie, and recently hash and karimi of course....
bayern never had the budget or the fan base across europe as other big names, but we have always competed well agianst them, never a push over of the big guys.

Bayern make move for Ribery - report


Bayern Munich have agreed a deal to sign French international Franck Ribery from Olympique Marseille, according to German sports news agency SID.

A Bayern spokesman said the club could not confirm the transfer, which the report said would be for around 15 million euros.

Bayern are rebuilding for next season after finishing fourth in the Bundesliga, missing out on a place in the Champions League. They have already confirmed four new signings in Hamit Altintop, Jan Schlaudraff, Jose Ernesto Sosa and Marcell Jansen
