fair enough, couldnt dispute that That said, I try keeping one team to me in each league I follow.
for Premiership its obviously Man United - maybe Bolton after that if I am really feeling generous because of Allardyce who I feel is a good manager and the one guy that on his day is someone arsenal fans will hate ,
La Liga ofcourse Barca, but given the rise of Sevilla I also like that as it adds competition and brings the best out of Barca though I am really getting frustrated with Ronaldinho's inconsistency of form
Serie A its Inter ofcourse - the historical underdogs of Italy and the only club never been relegated in Serie A history you dont know how much joy it brought me when Italy won the Coppa Italia in 2005 which was their first domestic trophy since winning the 1989 Serie A. but would you believe if there was any other club I would have supported in Italy, it has to be the club Maradona made famous and the club that will inshallah return to Serie A next season - the jewel of southern Italy: SSC Napoli
Germany, was a Bayern fan but now prefer Borussia Dortmund mainly because of the fans - each game 70,000+ sellout for a midtable club now that's passion - and Rosicky when he was there. he still is my fav czech player regardless of him being a gunner now.
oh and Daei_the_king I guess you are right but I have heard one with the names as well a few times
pretty much all of the favorites to win their leagues... haha just kidding
absolutely, but actually the pressure is on us as we have to score in the home and avoid Roma scoring to go through. with Scholes out and all those damn injuries to our main defenders it will need a big effort on United to be able to overcome such a difficult task. Roma have it easy, they can either defend or use the same tactics they did against Lyon when they did those superb counter attacks. Its about time United show what they are if they really want to challenge for the damn treble.
btw, taking nothing from Roma but United could have actually avoided those two goals - the run up to Taddei's goal shouldnt have seen United's defence being lazy. also van der sar should have done better with mancini's shot rather than punching it straight to vucinic. but I'm taking nothing away from Roma.
Yeah, for sure. I think United struggle more when faced with a resolute defense which will be the case in the 2nd leg.
