Liverpool
Man United

Whether or not the Reds have him on their 'selling list' is another matter entirely... Im sorry, I cant be entirely unbiased throughout all these updates The Mirror FC Lorient-Newcastle, Bolton: Both clubs are chasing French striker, Andre-Pierre Gignac. News of the World Chelsea: Mourinho wants Abramovich to make it clear if he is going to be kept as manager next year or not. Various Liverpool Liverpool's American owners intend to keep the name Anfield as part of any sponsorship deal for their new ground News of the World Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger has changed his route to work so he does not have to see Highbury being demolished (People). Man U/SunderlandManager Roy Keane has proved so popular at Sunderland they have already sold 20,000 season tickets for next year (People). Liverpool/Chelsea Peter Crouch has banned his father, a lifelong Chelsea fan, from using his Chelsea season ticket for their Champions League semi-final and says he must go as a Liverpool fan (News of the World). Chelsea Didier Drogba's parents banned him from playing football for a year when he was 16 to make him concentrate on his school work (Mirror).
I doubt Michael Owen should be ideal for United. Firstly he's got scouse blood in him (although he was an Everton fan as a kid, before being accepted in LFC academy) and secondly I would prefer United boosting up the midfield (Hargreaves) and get a winger that can put less load on Ryan Giggs if he wants to reach 760 games for United in all competitions breaking Sir Bobby Charlton's record and still be fit. Someone like Quaresma, Ribery, or Nani will be good.
