man i never thought id be defending NYC in an argument but khabalood u alrite there man? Being a resident of the toronto region, i have seen cujos exploits up close. And they do not come within a MILE of what martin brodeur did in New Jersey. Cujo was a good goalie. Nothing more. He never was a leader. He never was a fighter. He had godlike reflexes. But he was more of a marty turco than a broduer. Did Marty have it easier with the trap? yes. But at the same time everyone knows that a stanley cup champion is built from the net out. Martin Brodeur is the reason there are 3 stanley cup banners up in the rafters in New jersey.
As for belfour. THe man has had a good career, no doubt. But to compare him to Brodeur would be crazy man. Whenever the two have met, in the playofffs, broduer has been the victor. Remember when stars lost the Devils?
I know you hat e the style New Jersey plays. Trust me i do too. I hate basically everything about that franchise. I hated how scott stevens was celebrated as this supposed "leader" when all he was just a sad pathetic bully. I hated how no one blames Lou Amerillo for ruining hockey (along with Bettman) in the 90s with his trap. I understand that. But to take any credit away from broduer is just idiotic.
