He always said he would leave the game at the highest level, and he did.
He always said he would never become a has been that goes to worse and worse clubs as he gets older.

Zidane is the greatest player of all time and for him to go to USA would potentially affect that status as eventually he will not be as good and ppl will see a player chasing shadows of what he used to be.
