By the looks of it, my 2nd prediction (unfortunately) proved right.
I feel this was a typical yet effective performance by the Blues yet again, scoring a nice goal and digging trenches immediatly afterwards a-la Makelele Terry and Carvalho.
I feel Liverpool will need the entire Spion Kop of Anfield to rally their cause if they want to make the final but by the looks of it, it will be really really difficult as Chelsea's trench-building attrition tactics has been almost water-tight home and away with some good counter attacks.
I am feeling that Chelsea have firmly established one foot in the champions league final
When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high,
And dont be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.........
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart...
And you'll never walk alone
YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really hope the atmosphere at the Kop next week is incredible..... The original 12th man needs to get up and be heard.... (yes suprah, I am quoting your vid )
It wasn't boring, but it was a tough fought game.. these guys know each other like the back of their own hands..
I think liver needs to use that tall dude more.. He can head the ball back in play and Gerard can take advantage of that.. that seemed like their most effective play. All other doors were shut down.
