Big Sam to leave Bolton at the end of the season

Bolton could be looking for a new manager at the end of the season, with reports indicating Sam Allardyce intends to leave the Reebok Stadium.

Two national newspapers claim Allardyce is quitting the Trotters in the summer.

The Sun reports he has delivered the shock news to Bolton chairman Phil Gartside and is adamant he will not change his mind.

The Daily Mail says the 52-year-old wants to take a sabbatical from the game, ending his eight-year tenure at Wanderers.

Allardyce joined Bolton from Notts County in October 1999 and has been in charge for over 350 games.

Bear in mind this news isnt verified by the club so one cant say if its true or not. If it is true then the only reason why I like Bolton is leaving the club

This would comes as a real shock if true as I really rate him highly as a manager. He is a no-nonsense style lad and he has done his bit in Bolton's presence in the Premiership.

It also said somewhere that he might be heading to Everton?

meh...i doubt Everton will want to let go of David Moyes He is one of the main reasons why they have been doing so well for the past 2 seasons, firing him will be a mistake for Everton.

I dont really want to believe this news is true as nothing has been reported from the likes of skysports about this and I feel its just rumours.

Hmm that seems interesting actually (although I will still hate Citeh regardless of who is manager ) as the club board hasnt been happy with Stuart Pearce accepting a job as coach in the England U21 team setup and given City's typical crap season he might be forced to leave.

If United beat City then that will be the final nail in the coffin for Stuart Pearce as manager of the club.
