so, so Aussies are gonna have to improve after today performance versus Oman!

Well if Iran had played the same as they did in the second half as they did in the first against Uzbekistan I would've said the same thing about Team Melli but we improves a lot, and I mean a lot, during the actual game, good to see. I could actually analyse Iran's performance and say, "Well the mid-field and defence were really poor in the first half and improved dramatically in the second, etc, etc", but I just couldn't pin- point where exactly Australia went wrong, we just played really badly, and as my mum said we weren't playing as a team. Oman's style of play probably clashed with Australia's not allowing our game to flow properly, a bit like when my UEFA team, Arsenal versus Bolton. Luckily though I did see just enough determination and I already know we have the potential in the team to hope that Australia can improve by tomorrow. I'll be surprised if the performance tomorrow isn't better although this time it's a more difficult opponent. Well done to Oman and Uzbekistan by the way, good performances.

It should be a good game against Japan even if it doesn't turn out to be the result we want. I hope Viduka keeps up the good work and of the defence line is motivated on Saturday night they should be awesome.

Go Iran for Wednesday and go the Australia for Saturday. Bring on the 'Daihyo' ( means representatives I believe).

I'm going for Iraq in the semi-finals as they have never won the Asian Cup before and they have been playing well so far. I'll be happy for them if they win.

Shame about Iran and Australia but I'm still very proud of them (even with that really bas start to the competition for Australia.
