Angola name new players for CAN

    From BBC Sports

Angola have named two uncapped players in their squad for the African Nations Cup finals in Egypt.

Andre Titi Buengo and Marco Abreu, were handed their first call-ups to the Palancas Negras, according to the Angolan Football Federation.

Buengo, from second-division French Clermont Foot, and the Portuguese league club, Portimonense defender Abreu have been at the country's two-week training camp in Spain.

They are now also in a strong position to secure a berth in the squad for the World Cup finals in Germany later this year.

But two other potential newcomers, Pedro Kamata and the Leeds United defender Rui Marques, were left out for what the federation described as "administrative reasons".

Luanda-born Kamata is a former French under-21 international and Angola have been unable to obtain the necessary clearance from FIFA for a switch in national allegiance.

Angola play Morocco in a friendly in Marrakesh on 17 January before heading to Egypt where are in Group B with Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo and fellow World Cup finalists Togo.

    Squad:

Goalkeepers: Goliath (Sagrada Esperanca, Angola), Joao Ricardo (unattached), Lama (Petro Atletico, Angola)

Defenders: Delgado (Primeiro Agosto, Angola), Jacinto (AS Aviacao, Angola), Jamba (AS Aviacao, Angola), Kali (Santa Clara, Portugal), Lebo-Lebo (Sagrada Esperanca, Angola), Loco (Benfica Luanda, Angola), Marco Abreu (Poritimonense, Portugal)

Midfielders: Andre (Kuwait SC, Kuwait), Edson (Pacos Ferreira, Portugal), Figueiredo (Varzim, Portugal), Gilberto (Ahly, Egypt), Mendonca (Varzim, Portugal), Miloy (InterClube, Angola), Ze Kalanga (Petro Atletico, Angola)

Forwards: Akwa (Al Wakra, Qatar), Andre Titi Buengo (Clermont Foot, France), Flavio (Ahly, Egypt), Love (AS Aviacao, Angola), Mantorras (Benfica, Portugal), Maurito (Al Wahda, United Arab Emirates).
We thank and support Mr.Kamran Delan for many years of dedication and service to Iranian Football Community.
