i liked the romario - bebeto duo inspite of the 2 not having a very good relationship.
also chiles zamorano - salas was a ver good duo,
cole - yorke duo in man utd
and ofcourse DAEI - AZIZI
esteghlals enayati - akbarpour also combined well!
from this list, i think ronaldo - adrinao can from the best duo when on top form.

I would chose Klose-Podolski. They worked superbly with each other in the WC and are also doing so for the Euro qualifications. After that Villa-Torres but they still need a tweak a few things here and there to surpass Klose and Podolski.
I must say: Cole-Yorke for United; Morientes-Raul for Real; Maradona-Valdano for Argentina in 1986; Rivaldo-Ronaldo for Brazil in late 1990s; Crespo-Batistuta etc are some of the very best striking duos eversigpic

Villa-Morientes is a better duo than Torres, Torres feeds off Villa, he can't do jack alone.
But on the international scene, the chemistry between Podolski-Klose is second to none, so they get my vote.
France uses a 1 striker system, but that duo would be amazing, had they used it more. Another thing, Baros-Koller were quite good for awhile, not so much now though.STADIO OLIMPICO, 8 FEBRUARY 2004

I chose Torres and Villa because I support spain. But even if you think about it, they are the youngest and skilled players.
Klose and Padolski are too inconsistant, Padolski has a lot of improvement to do.
Ronaldo and Adriano, both Lazy......Ronaldo getting old and slow, (although playing well for Milan) and Adriano inconsistant, injured, and slow.
Henry and Trezequet both similar. Both tall, and they both do the same things. That s why Trezequet was benched in WC along with his problems with the coach.
Saviola and Crespo are too small and saviola s been injured for so long and crespo is a bit old.
So I chose Villa and Torres because even though they are also inconsistant, but Villa is a very good allaround player and a great finisher, he is fast and skilled on the ground, and Torres is great in the air and on the ground and also a good finisher and skilled.
