well 186forever jan, I live in holland too, they just DONT play attractive football, in 98' it was Hollands time to win WC but they didn't, but we really play like germany, before the WC, sloppy, soft and SHET!

I ll take ur word but it seems like every Iranian that lives in Holland hates Holland s team
but still I think they play a lot more attractive football than Italy.

I m a bit older than u and I ve watched spain since I was 9 I ve watched them since WC 1994......They always have good players but They never get it done. In Euro 2004 and WC2002 they had a lot of good players too. They ve always had great midfielders....In 98 they had a young Raul, Luis Enrique and Alfonso.....And a solid young Defense with Hierro and Nadal...but still didn t even advance to the 2nd round (only because Nigeria didn t care and lost to Paraguay on purpose)

In Euro 2000 they were just over powered by France and Raul Missed a Penalty late in the game....but they still had Great players such as mendieta and Munitis was Fast as hell along with Alfonso......

In WC 2002 Morientes and Raul were one of the best combos and they had Mendieta and Enrique and Joaquin.....along with Puyol and Casillas ...but lost unluckly to S. korea and in 2004 same crap... a lucky ass goal by greece and they didn t qualify.....and in 2006 they just froze against france and I guess as people say, they chocked....
So I m telling you, they are always the favorites to win the whole thing but somehow they dissapoint u. But most of them have been Unlucky and unfortunate followed by that HORRIBLE game against S. Korea which became among the top 10 Fifa refree mistakes of all time....
And go look where they are now in their qualifying group.....I love spain to death...but never ever assume
They ll have the same players as WC2006....I just wish that if Rafa Benitez leaves Liverpool, spain get him, instead of Luis Aragones.

Joke of the year dude. Are you kidding me Italia played the most boring defense and counter attack style football. Now if you call that style of football attractive tha'ts your prefrence. I personally define attractive football as playing a true attack style like Brazil. Of course they played like crap in this WC so it didn't work out for them.

Italian football is defined by
1-Sore the first goal
2-After you score the first goal play anti football and stick 9 in a box and hope your defense will shut the other team out.

1-the way they defend is amazing
2-you always have gattuso and materazzi headbutting and injuring players which is amazing.
3-just one attack and a goal(so amazing like the second inzaghi goal vs liverpool it just made english ppl cry while i was jumping around in my house)
4-just amazing!

holland games is just attacking with some young players.watch italia it is always amazing .
