I know its not relavent to this topic but i thought you might be interested Pharaoh.
It's going to be extremely tough to do Cyrus. The best players on this Ahly team are aging, and the young guns haven't proven worthy of carrying the torch just yet. I'm worried most about the strikers. Emad Meteb's form has plumetted recently, and Egypt best strikers currently reside in Europe. Amr Zaky is the best domestic striker at this point but he plays for Zamalek. Anyway, with experience and Manuel Jose as our manager (I'm dying for this guy to take over the national team post), I can't count Ahly out. Al Hilal of Sudan have been on good form lately, and have a very good crop of Nigerian players, so this weekend's tie will be tricky! Thanks for posting this preview
and they've just clinched their place at the Nations Cup.
This past weekend's results:
Madagascar 0:2 Gabon
Botswana 2:1 Mauritania
Burundi vs. Egypt (postponed b/c Burundi's only suitable stadium is being rennovated. Match was going to be played in neighboring Rwanda but there were no hotels available because of an AIDS conference. Match will be played in September, so the Egypt/Botswana match is postponed til October, which means Egypt may have to cancel its friendly with Japan. Only in Africa )
Lesotho 0:0 Uganda
Niger 1:3 Nigeria
Seychelles 0:2 Sudan
Tunisia 2:0 Mauritius
Cameroon 2:1 Rwanda
Liberia 0:0 Equitorial Guinea
Angola 3:0 Swaziland
Eritrea 1:0 Kenya
Burkina Faso 0:1 Tanzania
Mozambique 0:0 Senegal
Algeria 0:2 Guinea
Cape Verde 0:0 Gambia
Mali 6:0 Sierra Leone
Benin 4:1 Togo
Libya 3:1 Ethiopia
Namibia 1:1 Congo DR

[4] Cameroon - Winner of Group Five
[5] Angola - Winner of Group Six

[11] Sudan - Qualified barring a miracle
[12] S Africa - Pretty much there

Hey, walla zaman ya far3oun , I think it'll be the Usual teams.
The thing is that in the final its gonna be even hotter than the last time in Egypt.
I hope Egypt & the north african teams do well (inshallah) + i hope the dickheads here in england show it (unlike the asian cup).

maybe later this summer man bas honestly i doubt it . its a busy time.. finished university and moving to another state. then theres the job search, etc. have some extra fun for me.
That would be great bro. It would mean three Club World Cup appearances in a row for us. Hopefully we an improve upon 3rd place. As for the Birmingham move. I think Mido is a lazy waste of talent that needs to get his act together. Ghaly on the other hand is a tough, versatile, hard-working player that did much more for Tottenham than his Egyptian teammate. I think he totally got hosed and mistreated by Spurs. They'll miss Ghaly, but probably not Mido. If Mido gets back into shape and focuses, he'll be deadly as ever. I just don't see that drive in him these days like he used to have. Shame.
