We Won't Give Quagliarella Away - Marotta
Sampdoria g.d. Beppe Marotta insists the club do not intend to give Azzurri hero Fabio Quagliarella away easily.
zoom - galleria After the great match played yesterday with the Azzurri National team, with a brace against Lithuania, striker Fabio Quagliarella's market value has obviously risen sharply, also because it was not an isolated case, the player having delighted football fans with his spectacular goals all season.
However, his club Sampdoria, who co-own the player with Udinese, are not intentioned to give him away.
"We will do all we can to keep him at Samp", general director Beppe Marotta said, "considering also the good relations we have with Udinese. Only an extraordinary offer would make us think of selling him.
"Lucarelli? Let's keep a low profile for now, but undoubtedly we have the intention to build a competitive team and our objectives are well known by now", Marotta concluded.
Quagliarella scored a brace on his starting debut with the Azzurri, after making his first appearence for Roberto Donadoni's team back in March.WE ARE THE UNDER DOGS
