Internazionale have revealed that Luis Figo will be staying with them next season.
The 34-year-old did a u-turn on a proposed move to Saudi Arabia and was then promptly linked with moves to England and his homeland Portugal.
However, Figo has now signed up with Inter until June 2008 and he will then take on a role within the club.
A club statement read: "Luis Figo has confirmed his desire to play another season with Inter, and on the basis of agreements already made, will renew his contract until 30 June 2008.
"At the end of next season, Luis Figo will put his great experience and professionalism at the service of the club to take care of international relations."

I am really amazed how Ittihad first managed to sign Luis Figo and then also amazed at how they ****ed up the transfer and paper work making him scrap the deal before he even left Inter
