Michael Ballack has admitted he is flattered to be linked with a move to Juventus.
Juventus are reported to be weighing up a move for the Bayern Munich midfielder at the end of the season.
Ballack's future has been the subject of intense speculation for several months with the player refusing to sign a new deal.
The German international's current contract expires at the end of the current campaign and he is keeping his options open.
Juventus are one of a number of top clubs keeping tabs on Ballack's situation at Bayern with the German champions still hopeful of keeping him.
Bianconeri boss Fabio Capello admitted earlier this week that Ballack would be a welcome addition to his squad at the Stadio Delle Alpi.
Ballack admits he was honoured to be praised by a coach like Capello fuelling rumours he would be interested in a move to Turin.
"I'm flattered. It's impossible being indifferent facing a positive judgement from such a famous coach," said Ballack.
Juventus could face competition from Real Madrid for Ballack's signature with reports suggesting the player's agent is set to hold talks with Madrid's director of sport Emilio Butragueno.
Reports in Germany claim Ballack's agent Michael Becker is set to travel to the Spanish capital to open talks with Real about a move to the El Santiago Bernanbeu.
"We have always said we would like to listen to other offers," Becker told Kicker.
Despite Becker's revelations over the talks with Real Bayern are refusing to give up hope of keeping Ballack at the club.
"We are waiting for Mr Becker to come to us, that is our agreement," said Bayern's general manager Uli Hoeness.
If juve is smart, they will try to get karimi, cheaper and better.
