hahah cowboy up man best thing on earth watching futbol and drinking a beer. Well 2nd best thing the first is of course a hot woman wanting you. Yep my USA got spanked hard today but it's not a total loss at least my favorite team won today. Sure it was against Ghana but anytime Iran wins I'm a happy guy.

Nery Castillo plays for olympiacos and has been since 16 years of age..he chose to play for mexico over greece which was a very big situation in the media at the time, im glad hes doing good..he should be in one of europes top clubs soon...unofficial sources say Socratis Kokkalis and osfp management will not consider any offer under 10million euro

I thought he is from Urugauay initially and the choice would have been Uruguay or Mexico.

In all fairness, this wasn't even close to the USA A-team, and this was arguably Argentina's BEST side. I thought US was doing great, right up until the 2nd goal which was a complete killer - and from that moment on, they didn't have a chance at all to score.

Jesus though, Messi just keeps standing out no matter where he plays - how the hell does he run so much??? It's ridiculous!

And Nery Castillo is just awesome.

This is a smart move by USA to send in their B team. The Americans are preparing for the world cup they are looking at the bigger picture here. You want to add some depth to your team as a WHOLE. Their A squad just played in a tournament Gold Cup and won. Now it's time to give your other players a chance. This is also a very good way for USA coaces to discover new tallent man.

Remember when Bronko was our head coach and he got a lot of criticism for never trying out new plaeyrs? He stuck with the same players over and over again. He got criticized heavily for not trying out new players. USA is doing the exact opposit of that they are giving new players a chance to prove themselves.

This will only make their team stronger and you learn from 4-1 losses to world class teams like Argentina. You dont' learn much from your A team beating Panama.

So that's why we lost it all makes sense to me now.

OK, let's assume for a moment that Olsen was tiring and that the U.S. did indeed need the jolt of energy that Bradley indicated was his logic for the substitution -- why then did he choose Gaven? It could be that he actually felt the U.S. had a shot at winning and went for an offensive-minded replacement for Olsen as opposed to the more logical insertion of either Kyle Beckerman or Sacha Kljestan. The problem here is that, if you want energy, Gaven's hardly the man to provide it, given his lackadaisical style of play and total disregard for anything resembling tackling. Actually, the presence of Gaven on the Copa America roster is in part an indictment of some of the problems with the U.S. team selection policy. It seems that, at times, the USSF likes to pick from within the system, e.g., players that have progressed historically with the ODP system and U.S. national team youth programs, as opposed to those who haven't. How else then does one explain the selection of Gaven to begin with? Here's a player who once showed a lot of promise, but has regressed annually for the last few years and isn't even a starter on the MLS club level anymore. It's these type of selections (Santino Quaranta is another who springs to mind) that makes me wonder.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

                                paraguay baby

btw i think the reason the u.s isnt using their A team is because they are already in the confederations cup. If they had lost vs mexico i bet we would be seeing their A team right now.

but god DAMN the u.s. gets a lot of penalty kicks.

Paraguay tho. remember who called it and when i called it. Months ago son.
