Looks like we got two interesting semi finals match ups.
Game 1 Mexico vs Argentina

Game 2 Brazil vs Uruguay.

The score of the Mexico Paraguay game is a bit misleading because I think in like the 3rd min Paraguay's goalie got a red card for a sliding tackle. They had to substitute one of their defenders and they brought in the 3rd string goalie. I have no idea where was their 2nd string goalie but that's how Mexico was basically able to STOMP Paraguay 6-1. The score would of been a lot different if they didn't get an early red. Paraguay is NOT as basd as that score indicated.

Now logic should tell us that Argentina is going to play Brazil in the finals, but you never know that is what makes this game so great. Mexico is very capable of getting an upset over Argentina. If Uruguay somehow plays the game of thier life, and Brazil is not 100%, they can get the W.

I remember watching that game and Mexico almost pulled it off. Actually I agree Mexico for the most part outplayed Argentina in that game. Sometims that happens the better team loses. In WC2002 USA lost 1-0 to Germany but if you look at the stats they dominated time of possession, shots on goal, etc but the Germans got the win.

I actually hate it when that happens but it happens my friend that's football for you. IT can be such a cruel game especially when you outplay your opponent and for some reason you end up losing.

he is currently the best Argentinian in the world ahead of Messi, if not the best midfielder in the world currently.

He isn't extremely quick, but he is a genius with the ball, if you watched the Copa America games so far, all Riquelme needs is a wizards hat to put on.

I know. I was rooting for Brazil, but the last PK was pathetic play by Doni, and how they just ignored it was very obvious.

Uruguay was playing better than Brazil the whole game, but I think Brazil will be a harder opponent for Argentina if they meet in the final.

Dam I was cheering for Uruguay because they were the underdogs against Brazil. Man they played their hearts out and were very unlucky to lose. If you ask me I say Uruguay played better than Brazil and attacked more, but the brazilians beat them out in a thrilling penalty shootout. Oh that must be such a terrible way to lose poor Uruguay I feel bad for those guys they played so well.

Persian madrid why do you automaticaly think Argentina? Mexico is very cabable of beating Argentina and they have beenplaying some brilliant football. Their last game was a 6-1 thumping of Paraguay. It should be one hell of a ball game Mexico vs Argengina is going to be a blood bath. There is no love lost between those two teams and I'm sure Mexico wants a piece of Argentina bad.
