Real Madrid turned him down, and now you guys picked him up, not saying it's a bad deal, it's a very good one in fact.
but I don't see him staying in England unless he can produce something special at United.
I think the guy can prove to be something special with Man U. He has just a nose for the goal and is one of Argentina's best player. Sure his heart is going to be in South America however if you want to make some serious cash, it is the best career move to go play in one of Europe's biggest clubs.

Apparently the move is in jeopardy - west ham say they own the rights to him and as a result, Eggy wants him to fulfil his contract which runs for 3 yrs
Would you give your right arm to be ambidextrous?

Yes but I thought in football you can buy out a player's contract and transfer him over to another club? Isen't that how it works in futbol?

In the NBA I know it doesn't work liek that. The only way you can void your contract really is if a team wants to trade you. Right now Kobe Bryant for the Lakers wants to be traded. He has 3 years left in his contract and he can OPT OUT his final year. If the Lakers don't want to trade Kobe, WHICH THEY DON'T, they can force Kobe to sit for 2 yeras.
