    Capello to follow Becks

Fabio Capello admits he has rejected two club benches, but is considering a David Beckham style move to America.

The Scudetto winner with Milan, Roma and Juventus is currently unemployed after Real Madrid gave him the boot despite taking an unexpected Liga title.

“Dynamo Kiev and Lokomotiv Moscow both gave me some interesting job proposals, but I let them go,” he told the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport.’

“I also received a call from the United States and I’m thinking about it. It would be an intriguing new experience, not so much for the money, but to see if someone can get football to take off over there.”

The MLS is looking to build enthusiasm for the sport by bringing in top stars and Beckham was given the red carpet treatment in his LA Galaxy presentation this week.

Capello and Beckham famously clashed at Madrid, although the Coach admitted he had been wrong in freezing out the England international once the contract with Galaxy was signed.

LA Galaxy chief Alexi Lalas – a former Padova player – also aimed for another star of Italian football.

“I would love to see Ronaldo here, whether with us or another club,” the President told the ‘Mail on Sunday.’

^ not everything is about money mate. Your country has to have a passion for the sport if you want to get anywhere.

            And americans dont.

No way man; People dont give a damn about soccer here; Not even bringing ronaldo will do it; they need at least 6 or 7 super stars, and not 1 or 2 over the hill used-to-be-superstars.

when america stops making soccer a business and starts making it a SPORT, that's when it will start to grow, until then, it's just another "thing those damn foreigners do"
