Alessandro Del Piero, from Juve's pre-season training camp, talked about his club and not only that. His first words are aimed at the Bianconero coach:
"I've met mister Ranieri, more than anything off the pitch, and I have to say he had some very positive things to say about me and I can only thank him about that.
"I'm working to give the maximum for the team: I go on the pitch to win, not to make a good impression. We come from the Serie B with many new players and an entirely new club structure, it won't be easy to find a complete understanding instantly."
Buffon, Trezeguet, and Camoranesi are all staying at Juve: "I'm happy that Gigi, David and Mauro will stay. I hope we can be come out as winners in our next game against Inter, and that it will be important in the Scudetto race."
The Bianconeri captain also talked about the Italian national team, after the announced goodbye of Francesco Totti: "Totti's situation I don't want to comment on to avoid making wrong judgements. In any case, I would not be interested in getting back the number 10 shirt if he were to leave. Personally I have no intention of leaving, I want to be there at the next European championships as well as the 2010 World Cup in South Africa."
