Wow Hosam hassan the egytptian ali daei who is even older 39 !!!!!!! and scored a beautifull goal
2-0 egypt kongo nic game

Exactly.. he's our version of Ali Daei . He's been scoring goals for us for 20 years now. One of the most capped players in the world and I believe the 8th leading scorer in international football history. He also has the second-most goals in African Cup of Nations history. I feel so bad for the way the fans have treated him.. calling him names like gedo (grandpa) anytime he was out of form.
It was emotional I think for many Egyptians to see him score, and to see his emotional reaction.
A decent win but man am I worried about our defense. This has been our problem for years now. We score goals like there's no tomorrow, then we ruin it by making really silly errors.
Too bad winning today had to be tempered by that horrible Ferry disaster
PHAROAH, EZAYAK YA 3AM.......mabrook 3alla foz.....masr ba6al afrigha inshalaah
haha! that's great man. Where'd you learn such Egyptian Arabic ? I see you're in ras al kheima. You must have some Egyptian friends because we sure as heck don't speak anything like Iran's neighbors to the south
Nigeria won after penalties and now face Cameroon/Cote D'Ivoir in the semis..it was a very exciting game!
Man I thought Nigeria was GONE after going down 3-1 in the penalty shootout. Just shows you never, ever know in football and in life. Gotta battle till the bitter end.
Revenge for Nigeria who lost to Tunisia in PK's at the last Nations Cup.

very true! Japan was almost eliminated in the AC after they were 4-2 behind against Jordan in penalties and later they became the champions..
amazing...so as it stands right now, Egypt are through to the semis, to play either Cameroon or Cote-D'ivoire, or have Egypt made the final?
Egypt are through to the semifinals to play Senegal.
The other semifinal will pit Nigeria (who beat Tunisia on PK's earlier today) against the winner of this match between Cameroon and the Ivory Coast.
4 out of the 5 African World Cup representatives have already been knocked out! I think the traditional power-houses all felt they had something to prove.
In all honesty, Angola and Togo really should thank god that they made it. My heart goes out to Egypt. I would have loved to see them in the WC. They're so much more exciting than Angola and Togo, and have proved this in the African Nations Cup
We thank and support Mr.Kamran Delan for many years of dedication and service to Iranian Football Community.
It's a testimate to how crap CAF's WC qualifying system is
The quality of the qualifying groups was so rediculously unbalanced.
Togo has been especialy rediculous. I just hope we avoid all-out disaster at the World Cup. I think Tunisia and Ivory Coast can definitely hold their own, but the rest... Rabena yostor as we say in Egypt.
I just hope the lazy bums at CAF finally wakeup and move the qualifying system into the 21st century. That's the only good that might come out of this.
Extra time over.. CIV and Cameroon going to penalties.
I don't think I've ever seen penalties taken this well or confidently. Every kick is placed perfectly in the corner of choice! The teams have each made their first 6 penalties.
And Rigobert Song nails Cameroon's 7th penalty into the extreme top-left corner. Perfect placement.
And Ivory Coast's 7th penalty....... SCORES!
Who's will and character will crack first?
lol I'll report back when we finally have a winner
