Another big surprise was DR Congo's victory on Togo.
We thank and support Mr.Kamran Delan for many years of dedication and service to Iranian Football Community.

Actually Guina deserved their voctory as they were the better side.

      I think they're a dangerous outsider...

In my mind of the best defensive players in Africa,

That's the only way they can stay in the games unfortunately. Slow down the pace, foul a lot, and grass-roll. And despite this... 80,000 Egyptian fans cheered for them in their game with Ivory Coast.

How do they repay us? Tearing out the seats and tossing them at our fans (not the first time they've done this). Luckily the riot police were swift to interfere and kick them out of the stadium. The Libyan FA has since been fined.

....typical behavior from them. Their fans are starting to fall in the same hooligan category as the Algerians (if you can believe that's possible).

The matches from the past several days have been very entertaining. The level of play at this tournament is high, and all the usual suspects have played free-flowing, athletic, fast football.

Angola, and especially Togo!.. have been extremely disappointing. Togo is in for one of those 5 or 6 goal thrashings at the World Cup.

Cameroon, Egypt, Nigeria, and Morocco are head and shoulders above Togo and Angola, yet aren't at the World Cup. What a shame for CAF. At least this is good news for Iran if they play well vs. Angola.
